This immersive experience transports you through the most magnificent and celebrated segments of the Camino de Santiago, weaving through the enchanting landscapes of Navarra, La Rioja, Castilla y León and Galicia. Each region offers its own breathtaking scenery, delectable cuisine, exquisite wines and historic treasures.
The Camino Francés, famously known as the French Way, carries centuries of history and stands as the crown jewel in the Camino network, immortalized in popular films like The Way. Beyond its rich cultural and historical significance, this pilgrimage holds profound spiritual importance, leading to the revered resting place of Saint James, one of Jesus Christ’s apostles, in Santiago.
Our Best of the Camino de Santiago tour combines the most spectacular stages of the Camino Francés with our most sought-after experiences. You’ll step into the passionate world of winemaking with a private tour of a world-renowned winery. Additionally, you’ll get an exclusive look at some of Spain’s most revered religious monuments, including the cathedrals of Burgos, León and Santiago de Compostela. At the end of the journey, you will visit the “end of the world” at Finisterre and Muxía. At the end of each day, you can look forward to a restful night’s sleep in our carefully selected lodgings, including converted monasteries, manor houses, and renowned paradors.
The Camino offers more than just history; it’s a feast for the senses. Traverse four autonomous Spanish regions, each celebrated for its culinary traditions. Relish succulent lamb and pork from the land and indulge in fresh seafood like trout, inked squid, and octopus from its seas. For dessert aficionados, Castilla delights with treats like fried milk pudding. Enhance your meals with Navarra’s robust red wines and Galicia’s crisp Albariño whites. Our gourmet picnics, designed to accommodate all dietary preferences and restrictions, make lunchtime a highlight. Our clients consistently praise Spain’s gastronomy, and this tour offers a chance to savor it with many lunches and dinners provided.
