THE LAST 100 KILOMETERS (AS PART OF OUR EVERY INCH OF THE CAMINO TOUR)

202528sepAll Day04octTHE LAST 100 KM CAMINO FRANCÉS 2025A SMALL GROUP WALKING TOUR FROM SARRIA TO SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

ABOUT THE LAST 100 KM OF THE CAMINO FRANCÉS

Join pilgrims from around the world in walking the iconic final stretch of the Camino Francés, from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela. Covering 115 km over five days, you’ll walk an average of just over 20 km per day, a rewarding challenge that qualifies you to receive the Compostela certificate at your journey’s end.

The Camino Francés, or French Way, is steeped in centuries of history and remains the most beloved route in the Camino network, famously portrayed in films like The Way. This pilgrimage not only offers cultural and historical significance but also profound spiritual meaning as it leads to Santiago de Compostela, the final resting place of Saint James, one of Jesus Christ’s apostles.

Your path through Galicia will take you through serene oak woodlands, aromatic eucalyptus forests, and charming Galician villages. Along the way, you’ll savor the region’s renowned red and white wine, seafood (pretty much everything the Atlantic has to offer) and artisanal cheeses. You can count on enjoying all of these things. We take care of nearly every meal and for the rest we provide recommendations for our favorite local restaurants.

All our accommodations are carefully chosen for their proximity to the Camino, their charm, and the quality of service provided. We try to use small rural farmhouses or manor houses wherever possible. These are similar to bed and breakfasts and are usually traditional houses typical of the region, full of character and run by local people. On some nights, we use hotels so you will experience a variety of high-quality accommodation.

This fully supported tour takes the stress out of planning. We arrange all hotel stays, restaurant reservations, checkpoint coordination and luggage transport. All you need to do is lace up your boots and put one foot in front of the other.

Whether you’re seeking spiritual connection, cultural enrichment, or a physical challenge, this journey offers a seamless and unforgettable experience. Become part of the Camino’s enduring legacy—join us for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that will leave a lasting imprint on your soul.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY

This part of the Camino is very well marked and follows mainly forest trails, paths between villages and some secondary roads. While it is certainly not a mountainous region, Galicia is never flat. You will be walking up and down a lot, so a reasonable level of fitness is necessary. The distances we plan for you are the same as the typical stages of the Camino.

Our booking process involves two simple steps so that we can get to know each other, and ultimately ensure that you have an unforgettable experience.
